My father created jewelry that cost thousands of dollars. After he passed away, I decided to carry his art forward — to continue his work in a way that would keep his memory close.

Vellmonto began with that decision. It is my way of honoring what he created, while opening a new chapter of my own.

Natural moissanite was first identified in material from a meteorite. It is extraordinarily rare in nature; the moissanite in our rings is created in a laboratory.

Modern crystal-growing technology makes this remarkable gemstone available for jewelry. Its strong dispersion produces vivid rainbow flashes — more fire than diamond — giving moissanite a character all its own.

It is not a diamond, and that is part of what makes it special. With a hardness of 9.25 on the Mohs scale, it offers excellent resistance to scratching, though diamond is harder at 10. Like any treasured ring, it still deserves gentle care.
